Thoughts on Traveling and Career

I've been contemplating a lot these past few weeks - with my career and travel plans. You know too well that I love traveling so much, right? But if you've been reading my personal blog, you'll find out that I also fell in love with my job. It should sound great but I find myself in a dilemma. With the job that I have, traveling as much as I can (like once to twice a month) would be a feat.

I can't give up one of them so I came to provide myself with relief by making a promise that once I go full time on this job, I would ALWAYS FIND TIME TO TRAVEL.

Passion is passion and no matter what happens, it will find ways to manifest itself.

Before I totally deviate from my original plan on this post, let me share with you this photo taken last month. It's the only photo that I have when I visited the Davao Museum, just 3 hours before my afternoon shift.

This is Mr. Manuel Mendros, an engineer by profession and a museum and portraits artist.

I met him while I was looking (and getting awed) with the different art pieces on the second floor of the building. He asked me if I'm an artist. I'm about to say 'a self-professed one' but decided to say otherwise - hehe.

We have a brief conversation on art pieces, my plan of improving my artistic skill and on my life as a nurse. I guess it wasn't that brief at all ;) This 30-minute museum visit has given me more encouragement to push through with my plans not just in attending art classes but also in traveling solo :)

**At the end of this post, I came to realize that I have fully deviated from the original topic :p**

Where are you heading this month?
I have actually made some plans but I'll keep them as a secret first :p
