Glimpse of Camiguin

I was browsing my facebook account when I came across these photos taken 2 years ago in the beautiful island of Camiguin.

It was December of 2010 when I first set foot on this island. Located in the Bohol Sea, Camiguin is considered to be the second smallest island in the country both in population and land area, next to Batanes.

This trip was actually a business trip of my mom but I tag along because I badly needed a break that time.

We stayed in Tia's Beach Resort, just a few meters away from this runway. We were the only guests that time so we kinda owned the place. The place is safe and quiet but it isn't really something I would recommend because it isn't that clean and/or well-maintained.

If you're fond of nature-tripping and laid-back atmosphere, then this place is for you. Aside from its sweet lanzones, the island also takes pride on its natural attractions. We're not able to witness the beauty of their white sand beaches but we're able to spend some time in their cold and hot springs.

Making this post makes me realize how much I miss this island. This is the reason why I included this place in my must-travel destinations list for 2012.

See you soonest! :)
